Creative Presentation Resources, Inc. collects information from our users at several different points on our website.

GPS is jointly owned by our President (Bob Lucas) and his partner (Steve Tanzer) and provides human resource consulting services. The e-newsletter generated for CPR originates from Global Performance Strategies and is written and edited by Bob Lucas. Most of this information is sent only at your request. Surveys: Occasionally we may offer online surveys to our visitors. Our online surveys may ask you for demographic information (like your zip code, interests, or occupation). We use this data to periodically update and revise our site to provide customer-focused products, services and materials.
Secure Order forms: CPR is a "secure site" (click on the Thawte security certificate logo on our homepage for more information) and provides protection for your personal and financial information. As explained under "Security" below, we have a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) provided by one of the industry leaders in website security (Thawte). This security mechanism provides a secure order form process to gather personal information and process your order. We collect customer contact information (e.g. name, organization, phone number, email address) and financial information (e.g. credit card numbers) needed to process your order. We DO NOT store financial data on our website. That information is translated directly to our credit card processor (Linkpoint) which verifies card validity, bills your credit card and forwards approval to CPR via email before we process an order. Contact information from the order form is used to send orders to our customers.

Sharing:

We may share contact and demographic information with our affiliate company Global Performance Strategies LLC for the purpose of providing information about training programs and consulting services. We do not share your information with other organizations. Our visitors contact information (e.g. their e-mail address) will never be sold, rented, or given to any third party companies, except for the purpose of providing any services that they have requested.

We use an outside credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. This company does not retain, share, store or use personal identification information for any secondary purposes. These parties are not allowed to use personal identifiable information except for the purpose of providing the services that we have contracted.

When our order form asks users to enter sensitive information (e.g. credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when you are just "browsing."

In addition to using SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of the information collected from users, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (e.g. order processors or billing clerks) have access to your personal information.
